Cragside
I just love this place and could move in and live there its such a lovely house and its one that Kev enjoyed looking around just as much as me because this house was built for Lord William Armstrong and was the first house in Britain to have electricity which was provided by its own hydro electricity generators. It was the first to have a telephone and it even had a dishwasher and lift. Appart from it being interesting its just a lovely house which I cant wait to go back and see again.
The fireplace is a work of art you cant believe how lovely and how big it is from this photo. There is another lovely inglenook fireplace with lovely stained glass windows by Rosseti but cant get a picture of that to show you.
