In all honesty mel I dont know, I know the grounds are open to the public 364 days of the year and from the main road to the steps of the building is exactly one mile Very Happy

I do think this is an impressive building but I have only seen it in real life from the road a long time ago! When we moved to this area and I saw Chesterfield town hall for the first time that design impressed me as well but it wasn't until my son became interested in local history that I found out that they have the same architect!

We are very lucky with our historic buildings, we were driving through Chertsey and the different types of houses in one road was quite interesting.
