Pictures does not show you how amazing this church is there is a lower chapelle and then you climb some stairs and then you are blown away because the church is just made of glass if you are ever in Paris please go see it as it takes your breath away

The Gurkin London

The Circus Bath

Just feel lucky I have loads of ironing to do otherwise you would be going threw pages of pictures so come on you seen mine lets see yours

Re: What your favourite buildings
Dio there is not alot of modern buildings I like but I love the Gerkin and have to disagree with you there hun I think its a fab building and have spent ages looking at it in London and the light reflects so lovely from all the glass etc have you seen this building in the flesh I bet you would change you mind hun
Sarah they say great minds think alike
the funny story behind the Sainte Chapelle is that we went for our honeymoon in Paris yes I know its romantic and all but not a good place for a new husband to take his new wife if she loves history and French history being one of her favs
he was tired out and fed up from going from one building to the next for a week
well I wanted to see Sainte Chapelle and Kev had had enough but under duress we paid our money and went into this rather bare church Kev is now really grumpy untill we walked upstairs and was hit by a sight that took both our breaths away you just cant discribe how lovely it is no wonder its known as the glass church anyway Kev was happy and had to admit that he saw something that was unforgettable
Here is another of my fav buildings I waited so long to go to Jersey just to see this Church its another church known as a glass church and its truely lovely.

Re: What your favourite buildings
She's young that's Rach's excuse.
I have to say that I don't have a particularly favourite building but I do tend to look at buildings as we drive by. I love looking at the finishes of some of the roofing is fabulous.
Although, I will say that if you ever get to visit, Urquhart Castle, do go into the presentation film in their visitors centre. When you get your first view of the Castle from this it is lovely if a ruin.
