			<description>OK, it's not a paranormal book but----it seems that quite a few ghost stories were invented by smugglers to discourage  nosey people from getting too near their hidden spoils. Telling tales of &quot;old Shuck&quot; roaming at night would have terrified the superstitious villagers and to make sure they stayed away when there was a &quot;run&quot; a lantern was tied around the neck of a black ram who was then let loose!

Uusually in Britain you are lucky if a local book store has a few books on Ghost stories/paranormal/mediums, but not over here.

I was spoilt for choice and ended up buying three books.

			<description>I mentioned it on the old forum, but if ever you find yourself traveling up and down the country and have to stop to spend a penny and stretch the legs.

Don't forget to have a look at the books in the services bookshop section.

Over the years I have picked up a few good books from these places and I wasn't disappointed on the way up to Scotland.

We use the M6 TOLL road to avoid Birmingham on our journey and we always call in at the services on there.

I have a great book called Walking Haunted London by Richard Jones it contains everything you need to do a Haunted Walk here are a list of walks in the book even if you dont want to do a walk the book is worth buying as its a fab read.  Here are the walks covered in the book.
