Albert Best Medium (close friend and mentor of Gordon Smith)

Post  Mel_Kim on Fri Jan 23, 2009 9:54 am

Now I have heard lots about Albert Best from the books of Gordon Smith not only was he a lovely man but quite possibly the very best medium this world ever knew. He had a sad life and lost his wife and children in a bombing raid whilst he was away fighting in WW2. Here is a link if you wish to read more.

You must have read my mind Mel because I was trying to find out some information on him the other week.
He was also the uncle of footballer George Best.

You better open your eyes when you read Gordon's books then, because that is where I read it hysterical especially the bit where his friend's brother is killed in a fire and comes to him as he wakes up.
That he started to go to spiritualist churchs with her and she gets told she will met a medium who will give her an important message.
A few years later, she mets Albert through Gordon and gets her message.

Oh my giddy aunt!!! Was he really Georgie Best's uncle? Dickie Best's brother? I adored Georgie Best both for his superb football skills and of course his sex appeal!! bigredgrin I was devastated when he died, still get weepy about him. His dad Dickie died last year, I think he was 87.

hollyrose, Gordon speaks most lovingly of Albert in his books.
You can tell he had a great fondness for the man
