Thanks for that explaination, I have experienced the 'voices in the ear' bit and you feel a right idiot when you say to someone, 'did you hear that?' and they look at you as if you are mad. (I know Sandra, no change there).

you know me too well maggie! pmsl
i hate the 'voices in the ear' they always do it when you least expect it and tbh i can't quite cope with it

Can I ask you Maggs and Sandra a question if you dont mind please feel free not to answer but when you hear the voices is it in your mind you can hear them or out load with your ears (hope that makes sense) and our the voices different with different accents or just one voice etc

For me! The first time it happened was on Blackpool train station. I had spent a weekend there, with my family, some had come down from Scotland and my dad's family had come up from Frome in Somerset. I was saying goodbye to my grandfather when a voice said as clear in my ear as if it was someone standing talking to me! 'You will never seen him again!' I asked my sister if she had heard anything and when she said no, I went hysterical. My poor b-i-l, and dad had to pull me off my granddad, so he could catch the train back to Scotland. That was the first weekend in September, my oldest neice was conceived that weekend, many years later I lost my first baby on the same date. I never did see my grandad alive again, he died the following January, it was the first time I had not been able to get away for Hogmany! He sent my Christmas present down with my parents. When I phoned to thank him, he said 'he could not wait to see me.' but not in the way of looking forward to seeing someone, he died two days before I was due to fly up and see him.

((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((Maggs)))))))))))))))))))))))))))) thats so very sad about your grandfather and the loss of your baby (((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((Maggs)))))))))))))))))))))))

It wasn't so bad Mel, althought I thought my world ended when my grandad died, because a lot of things happened in the family at the time.
What was nice was that he died after my sister told him she was having a baby.

(((((((((((((((((((((((((((((Maggs)))))))))))))))))))))))))) so at least he got to know he was going to be a great grandfather hun and he would be there to take care of his other great grandchild the one you sadly lost hun. When my late nephew was born he was the first grandchild and my mum hung on to find out he was born and ok etc and died two days later its sad she never got to see him before she died but I know our Shayne is safe and looked after with his grandparents now. Its so sad my parents did not get to see or know about half there grandchildren etc but I know they are watching over them if that makes sense and itt does give you comfort

mel - i tend to mostly hear the voices in my head (no not like that pmsl) its more sensing what they are saying but sometimes i hear them very clearly and it will be when i'm completely alone so that there's no mistaking its not a human
i find that very disturbing and spirit are aware of that but sometimes i think their wicked sense of humour takes over!

Thanks Sandra that was interesting and I knew what you were on about hun about the voices in your head its good to hear spirit have a sense of humour but they do say that what you were like in life you are on the other side etc so it makes perfect sense that they have little jokes with you etc but I bet like you say it can be very spooky sometimes
