Living with the Dead
LIVING TV: Living with the Dead - Series 2 March 17 2009 9pm
The first one starts with Freddie Starr and his haunted house. I have read an article about this and apparently Ian Lawman nearly phoned an ambulance as Freddie was taken over quite badly as apparently Freddie been psychic since childhood.
Also in this series is acrtress Claire King who used to be in Emerdale. They investigate her 17th century Yorkshire home which is said to have a ghost of a boy.

Re: Living with the Dead
I don't like Freddie and tbh I would not trust him.
At least with Toyah Wilcox, she has admitted an interested in the paranormal a long time ago before it was, as it seems at the moment the latest Celeb fashion accessory.
I will watch and see what happens.

Re: Living with the Dead
I have to say, I am not over enamoured with this series......The first I just kept expecting Freddie Starr to start his elvis impression.......
But I do find it intriguing ................. the fear of the female psychic, Ian Lawmans dark approach but the last was it...where a member of the family channelled the man who had died and lost his wife and child.......I have to be honest and ownder whether this team just got lucky? I dont know.....nto a great fan, but will continue to watch.....you never know.........

Re: Living with the Dead
I have a feeling that she is new to it, there are pictures of her on facebook appearing in Hairspray with Michael Ball.
She does she to jump an awful lot, but then so did David Wells when he first started out on mh.
I haven't watched most of this new series, the 'get out, get out!' bits from Ian Lawman are just too much for me.
I think that, anyone watching this type of programme will think that this is all that pyschic investigations are all about or that every type of haunting are the same.
I know I got scared at St Briavels but I felt as if I was being 'rushed' by a gang. There has got to be a balance of some sort in this type of programme

Re: Living with the Dead
I do worry that sceptics and those on the fence will watch this and think what a load of twaddle.....it seems unfair - this is clearly an entertainment programme.......and should be clearly identified as such. Im afriad I Cant take Ian Lawman seriously.
I know some feel the smae about MH, but I do have to keep watching that, even tho the "family" and nepatism seem to be taking over from the original investigations.
Hay ho! - I know what I have felt, seen, heard and experienced and that makes me a mainly believer.......and personal experience cant really be shown with editing, background music etc on a TV programme.......

Re: Living with the Dead
I quite liked the way Ian Lawman conducted himself on mh and I'm famous and frightened, but I noticed he is styling himself as an exorcist, and all this shouting of 'get out get out' is very theatrical and I don't think helps the family involved in programme.
If anything it adds to their tension.
