Not quite a paranormal programme but a programme around a paranormal theme, (and doesn't there seem to be alot of them now!)
Shawn Spencer's father always assumed his son would one day be a policeman like himself. So from an early age trains him in observation skills and polic procedures.
After a tip which attracts the newspapers and results in an arrest.
Shawn is warned that he better be pyschic or he will be arrested.
So he has to keep up the pretense, along with his friend and partner Burton 'Gus' Gustner, they are consultants for the Santa Barbar Police Dept.
The earlier series are being repeated on a Saturday afternoon on BBC2, in what was the old 'Monk' spot.
And on Hallmark channel, Sunday evenings.
