Re: Yvette talks about her haunted home
I don't like the deer heads either, even if they did come with the house I would have certainly taken them down.
No doubt she would want a house that is haunted and having lived in a couple of houses with previous occupants myself, it is okay if they are friendly but if they are at all menacing it does put a dampner on things.
We lived in a house in Bristol where I saw two appariations, in the house, (one in my bedroom another on the landing) but both myself and my younger sister were not happy going through what we called the 'coach' house which was really a sort of old stable type building. There was something very menacing in the corner there.
We always used to run through that building as it was the only way to get to the big garden at the back of our house (it ran behind everyone elses garden and was really a small orchard), so much so that we confine ourselves to playing in the patio area behind the kitchen. Considering we were 8 and 6 at the time it does make you wonder.

Re: Yvette talks about her haunted home
Mags I hate dead animals being put on walls etc its so yuk and it must be very bad for the vibe of a place well thats what I think anyway. Mags there must have being something very nasty you were both picking up on to stop you from going in the garden often because kids love gardens I wonder if there is any history about the place we could find out knowing our luck its probably pulled down knowing how rubbish Bristol City Council are for saving any interesting buildings.
I was so upset a pub my mum and dad used to drink in on the corner of the street I was born and that my dad was secretary of the social club where we used to go on coach outings the whole street etc. Its been pulled down I was heart broken and cant understand how they got away with it as its very old apparently it went to the vote at the council and lost by one vote even thow the people who lived around there wanted it saved. Guess what the developers knocked it down the next day just in case someone slaped a listing on it which is what would have happened if there would have been time makes me so mad and sad.

Mel it was in Moravian Road Kingswood Bristol, opposite the Moravian Church, where we lived there was about three Regency style houses in a sort of terrace, and when you went through the kitchen to the garden, there was a sort of patio/flagstone area, then a narrow pathway to this stable place, and in it a quick right hand turn to get to the actual garden.
