Bimini Road/Atlantis

The Bimini Road was found underwater in 1968 near the North Bimini Island in the Bahamas. Many say its naturally made whilst others say that the rocks are so unusualy arranged that some think this could be from the lost city of Atlantis.

Interesting reading Mel, but it does sound as if it could be the same sort of natural phenomena which formed the Giant's Causeway in Ireland.

I remember seeing a programme about the excavation of Jamestown by some of the Time Team, and another one with some American Archaeologist, where they found a sunken street which had been lost during a hurricane.
In fact it might have been that series of programmes about underwater archaeology, you could clearly see the cobbles of the street.

Yes I think I saw one programe I think it was a Time Team special about something to do with Cleopatra that was now under the sea wish I could remember more it may come to me. Yes it probably is natural Mags and as for the Giants Causeway Kev and I have always wanted to go see this.
