The Ural Mountains Skiing Mystery
Nine Russian students set out on a expedition in January 1959 but three weeks later they are found dead and abandoned on the side of a mountain. The rescue party said that something must have scared the party so much that they had fled in -30C temperatures dressed in just their pyjamas. Five members of the group were discovered in a forest half a mile away doctors said they died of hypothermia. Two months later the bodies of the remaining skiers were found buried under snow in a ravine 250ft from where their friends had been discovered.
